The drawings shown below show the airport parking area layout with the current hangar project and areas designated for future hangar and/or FBO buildings.

The official airport layout plan (ALP) update scheduled for late 2006 will incorporate a version of this plan. This plan is presented here only for information about the proposed configurations of the ramp; with the exception of the current hangar project on the south side of the parking apron, the presentation of these plans on this page in no way implies that any specific building plan has been or will be approved by the city.

First phase -- 5 box hangars aligned along the south edge of the ramp (Immelman Hangar Developments LLC); involves removal of an equivalent number of tiedowns and minimal relayout of existing aircraft or auto parking areas.

Note: The FAA standard minimum distance between opposing tiedowns (tiedown ring- to tiedown ring) is 81 feet (ref. FAA AC 150/5300-13, Appendix 5)). Tiedown depth is 17', measured from wing ring to tail ring. The minimum distance between opposing hangars (or a hangar and another immovable structure) is 75 feet. By inference, the mimimum distance between a hangar and an opposing tiedown (ring) would be 78 feet. These drawings are drawn to scale and meet all of those minimum dimension requirements.
