Seaside Municipal is a public use general aviation airport, located between the charming northern Oregon coastal communities of Seaside and Gearhart, and easily accessible to both. It's also the closest airport to the iconic town of Cannon Beach. There are a number of attractions within walking distance to the airport. The single paved runway is suitiable for most light single and some twin engine aircraft weighing less than 12,500lbs. There are no instrument approaches, but conditions sometimes allow for making an approach at KAST then diverting the short distance to Seaside.

Flying In?

Please fly friendly — use the published pattern, avoid early turnouts and unnecessary low altitude flight over nearby homes, and respect the charted wildlife protection zones along the coast. Also use caution for wildlife on and near the runway — birds, deer and elk are common hazards.
