Seaside Municipal Airport is owned and operated by the city of Seaside, Oregon. The city's Public Works director serves as the airport manager, and routine maintenance is handled by the city's street department.
An airport advisory committee, consisting of nine members of the community appointed by the city council, acts as an advisory body to the council, city manager and city staff on issues regarding airport planning, safety, and other issues. Committee members and local pilots also routinely help with maintenance and improvements at the airport on a volunteer basis.
The committee currently meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month, every other month (January, March, May, July, September, November) at 6:00 P.M. at the Council chambers in Seaside City Hall, 989 Broadway OR at the airport (generally during summer months). Meeting times and dates are subject to change; check this website or contact Seaside City Hall to verify meeting dates/times/locations. All meetings are open to the public.
